About

Following my graduation from the Humber Jazz program and advanced education with top private instructors, (P.Delong, R.Gratton), I found endless work as a drummer in the local Toronto and Canadian music scene. The majority of my time was spent playing live shows and events, with the balance being studio, and session type calls and projects. This was my agenda for many years, playing, and supporting every style, and genre imaginable. Rock, Funk, Jazz, Hip-Hop/R&B, Latin, Afro-Cuban, Big Band, and many ethnic styles are my forte. As well Fusion, Metal and Prog.

I have been Director, at the Ontario College of Percussion and Music for the last 10 years while continuing to keep a balance of performing, along with teaching. Lately, my main work has been large tribute shows in casinos and theaters, mainly in Canada and the U.S.A. but, also take me to other parts of the world. Many of my shows have also been with symphony orchestras, such as, the San Diego, Los Angeles, Winnipeg, and Toronto Symphony Orchestras. Essentially, combining a rock band with the symphony for an amazing concert experience. I live in South Etobicoke and have a small teaching studio in my home.

I offer lessons to drummers of all ages and skill level. From beginner to pro. The content is both practical and technical, with lessons tailored to your needs and skill level. I always invite a call to talk, as you will have a better idea of what the lessons are all about, and you will have all of your questions answered at that time as well.
